This semester, Junior Construction students tackled real builds…including laying out a front porch elevation, framing window and door openings with headers to learn load-bearing transfer, constructing a 6/12 pitch roof using Pythagorean’s Theorem for rafter seat cuts, and tackling a challenging dormer with a changed roof direction and pitch.
