Career Pathways
Career technical education (CTE) pathways at CTEC are structured sequences of courses tailored to align with a student's career interests, offering a bridge between high school education, college credits, industry certifications, post-secondary education, and career opportunities. In partnership with the State Center Community College District, CTEC students can work towards an associate degree in Industrial Technology with a focus on either Manufacturing or Construction. As students progress through their chosen pathway, they have the opportunity to earn certifications specific to industry-relevant skills.
CTEC offers two primary pathways to support student learning and career preparation: Advanced Manufacturing and Commercial Construction. These pathways provide students with specialized training in their chosen fields while also equipping them with versatile job skills that enhance their employability across various industries. Through these pathways, students are well-prepared to pursue careers or further education in their chosen fields.
