As the school year starts winding down, this week is a reminder that growth isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like showing up, supporting each other, trying again, laughing to let out steam, or simply pushing through a hard day. We’re so proud of our students for the ways they continue to raise the bar—academically, personally, and emotionally. Even in the quiet moments. Mental Health Week at CTEC. 💙💚 You Matter Here!

“Give this to a staff member who has a secret snack stash.” 🍿🍪🍬 Last week, we celebrated our staff with yummy treats & thoughtful gifts (thank you families!) as well as cards like this one that highlighted just how special each member of the CTEC family is. 💙💚 it was a wonderful Staff Appreciation Week!

Technology will keep changing. Tools will keep evolving. But confidence built through real skills, problem-solving, teamwork, and hands-on experience is something our students carry with them long after high school. Learn more at CTEC.fcoe.org.

Senior Spotlight: Zarina | Class of 2026 🌱 After graduation, Zarina plans to create an online platform promoting farm-to-table living by teaching people how to garden and cook with fresh fruits and vegetables. Through CTEC and her internship with Western Solid Waste, Zarina learned patience, time management, and the importance of understanding community needs and giving back.

It’s easy to focus on grades, projects, and final products, but some of the most important growth shows up in quieter ways. Like confidence, the ability to communicate, and the willingness to keep trying. Proud of our 9th graders and how far they’ve come this year.
