Yesterday, Jacob Cavazos, a talented CTEC senior, dedicated his abstract art fountain to the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools. Inspired by the Fresno County Pillar, this stunning piece represents the strength of everyone in education—teachers, administrators, support staff, and more—working together to shape the future.

As Jacob explained, “Each of the layers are a moment when a student is impacted by one of you. The water represents the students, and as each drop comes down the layers, that student is growing in knowledge, skills, strengthening who that individual will become.”

This fountain is a powerful reminder of how educators create a ripple effect that impacts students and strengthens communities.
