Tonight: Senior Engineering students will take us inside the engineering marvels behind iconic structures! 🏛️✨ One student explored the Metropolitan Cathedral in Mexico City, a 250-year-old structure still facing challenges like uneven sinking. 🌍 These students have chosen a building from Built: The Hidden Stories Behind Our Structures by Roma Agrawal, and are ready to showcase their scale models and talk to us about the engineering concepts they’ve studied. From labor to technology, they’ll discuss how these elements shaped the past and continue to influence the future of engineering.
