Coaching is more than just a hobby—it’s a passion and a way to give back. 🏆⚽🏀 Mr. Cole, a CTEC social science teacher, has coached high school sports for nearly a decade and recently helped lead Selma High to a Division Five championship! 🏆 He is also part of our CTEC athletic team and works to bring sports to CTEC, giving students opportunities to play flag football, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. This #NationalHobbyMonth, we celebrate the dedication and impact of hobbies that shape lives on and off the field! 💪 #CTECTitans #CoachingLife #PassionInPractice

When our students spend their lunch break encouraging each other to lift safely with proper form, they’re building more than strength—they’re building teamwork. Whether they go into construction or manufacturing, they’ll need the strength to move materials, lift projects, and support each other. As Mr. Riojas says, ‘Everyone’s genetics, strength, and ability are different, and that’s okay—as long as we focus on lifting people up to get better.’ #LiftEachOtherUp #TitanStrong #CTECBuilt #CTECFresno #DiscoverCTEC

It’s technically February, but we have a few more #NationalHobbyMonth posts to share! In addition to teaching math and participating in the Mathematics Master Teacher Leadership Program, in which Mrs. Adjemian sharpens both math and instruction techniques, she also has a passion for culinary arts. She enjoys baking cakes and pastries, crafting beautifully arranged charcuterie boards, and creating intricate fruit and vegetable carvings.

🏀 National Hobby Month Spotlight: Adrian Espinoza 🏀

We are still celebrating #NationalHobbyMonth! Basketball has been a part of Adrian’s life since he was 8 years old, playing alongside his father. For the past four years at CTEC, he’s dedicated himself to the game, hoping to leave a lasting impression. More than just a sport, basketball brings him happiness, keeps him active, and serves as a reminder of his late father’s influence. 💚💙
