How do seemingly small factors lead to significant outcomes? In this integrated ELA + welding project, students explored the American Dream—through both words and welds. Jonathan Zepeda shared: “This is a first look at the design we’ve been developing…The door is surrounded by vines, symbolizing difficulty and persistence…Each weld is unique, showing the different people coming together.” Project team: Jonathan Zepeda, Oscar Reyes, Ethan Frazier, Jarett Garcia, and Jedidiah Ayala.
