Go Titans! 💚💙

New environments change how students see learning. 📍 Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Tours of the Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering and Construction Management departments, plus time on the Central Coast at Pismo Beach. This kind of day matters.

🎧 CTEC Hobby Spotlight 🎧 Phillip’s hobby is music producing: creating beats, producing tracks, and making his own songs using BandLab. He started producing in 2021, inspired by the beats he heard in the music he loves. Like any real creative process, it wasn’t easy at first; he didn’t always know what he was doing and felt frustrated learning the skills. But he stuck with it, kept practicing, and kept creating. Now, music production is more than a hobby, it’s a craft he’s committed to growing. #CTECHobbySpotlight #NationalHobbyMonth #CTECStudents #MusicProduction #StudentCreators

We couldn’t be more proud of the way Henry, Jordyn, and Micah showed up at Poetry Out Loud last night! 🎤✨ Huge thank you to Ms. Payne for mentoring them through this journey. We are already looking forward to next year’s competition! Great work, Titans! ⚙️

🚗 CTEC Hobby Spotlight 🚗 Sean’s passion for working on vehicles started early…when his dad first put a wrench in his hand. Now, his personal car is both his daily ride and his project vehicle. From routine maintenance like oil changes to major repairs like fixing a cracked radiator that caused overheating, Sean continues to build his skills through real hands-on experience. Looking ahead, he plans to invest in his future by pursuing formal automotive training and earning certification to turn his passion into a career. January is almost over but we have a few more hobbies to share!

🌿 CTEC Hobby Spotlight 🌿 Conrad creates living ecosystems through his hobby of building aquariums and terrariums. He enjoys crafting a little slice of nature to keep inside his home — especially his aquariums, where fish and shrimp bring each environment to life. #CTECHobbySpotlight #NationalHobbyMonth #CTECStudents #CreativeHobbies #HandsOnLearning
