Our CTEC Titans Farm Robotics Challenge team earned: 🏆 Excellence in Drone Applications — Community College Division (Yes… they moved us UP a division because they were so impressed with the project.) 🏆 Excellence in Specialty Crops — Academy Division These students spent months designing, building, testing, troubleshooting, and pushing through real engineering challenges to create technology with real agricultural applications. No simulations. No hypothetical work.

Congratulations to Mason Carter and Hugo Vasquez for earning their Certified @SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) certification this year. The CSWA is an industry-recognized certification that shows students can use professional CAD software to solve real engineering and manufacturing design problems — a skill that’s highly valued across industry. Proud of the work these two put in to earn it! Shout out Mr. Cantu for the support!

Senior Spotlight: Isaiah Silvas | Class of 2026 After graduation, Isaiah plans to attend California State University, Fresno to study Construction Management. He hopes to continue building his skills and pursue a career in construction, possibly as a project manager. Through CTEC’s Construction Pathway, Isaiah gained hands-on experience using tools, working on projects, and learning how things are built, which he says helped him discover the career path he wants to pursue after high school.

Coach Martinez is encouraging CTEC Titans to take advantage of the FREE @planetfitness High School Summer Pass! Teens ages 14–19 can work out free from June 1–August 31 through the High School Summer Pass program. A great way to stay active, build healthy habits, and keep working toward your goals this summer. One night can’t capture everything these students have built, but it’s a pretty good reminder of how far they’ve come. From internships and certifications to presentations, projects, and experiences that pushed them outside their comfort zones, senior showcase is a glimpse into the growth behind the last four years at CTEC. Congratulations Class of 2026!

Senior Spotlight: Isabella Carrizales | Class of 2026 After graduation, Isabella plans to attend California State University, Fresno and major in Social Work, with the goal of helping children communicate their feelings and experiences with others. CTEC helped Isabella grow socially and emotionally by encouraging her to connect with others, hear their stories, and build confidence in communicating with people around her.

Tomorrow night, our 11th graders will showcase the projects, skills, and experiences that challenged them to grow this year. Somewhere between freshman year and now, they’ve built real confidence, real skills, and a stronger sense of what they’re capable of.
