This Labor Day, we’re spotlighting Nathaniel Hernandez, a CTEC class of 2022 graduate and 2nd-year J.A.T.C. Electrician Apprentice with I.B.E.W. Local #100-Fresno. Nathaniel’s journey from childhood dreams to a thriving career is inspiring: “I’ve wanted to be an electrician since I was little. My father would take me on side jobs, and it just stuck with me... CTEC gave me a general understanding of construction, how it operated, and we even visited actual construction sites.” Thanks to CTEC and dual enrollment with Fresno City College, Nathaniel is well on his way to becoming a skilled electrician.
