Rick Martinez comes to us from Selma, CA where he grew up playing baseball. He graduated from Selma High School in 2009 and decided to pursue his education and athleticism. He was blessed to be able to get an education and continue to play baseball at Reedley College for two years. Becoming a Fresno State Bulldog was one of his dreams growing up in the Central Valley, and he was accepted in the Fall of 2011. After only one year, he changed his major to Kinesiology. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with his option being Physical Education. In his free time, he enjoys coaching and watching baseball. He is a big family man, so he loves being with his grandmother, mother, two sisters, girlfriend, and four-legged son, Buddy!
