Class of 2026 Spotlight: Tara Cavazos CTEC helped Tara prepare for her next step by teaching responsibility, communication, leadership, and confidence. Through hands-on learning and opportunities to connect with others, she discovered how meaningful it is to support people and help them feel understood, an experience that inspired her to study psychology and pursue the education pathway. Tara would like to thank her teachers, mentors, friends, and family for always supporting and believing in her throughout high school. She is especially grateful for the opportunities CTEC gave her to grow as a leader, speaker, and student. Her advice to future CTEC students: get involved, take advantage of every opportunity, and don’t be afraid to put yourself out there.
