Senior Spotlight: Jarett Garcia | Class of 2026🔧 After graduation, Jarett plans to continue his education at Fresno State University to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology. He also hopes to pursue his passion for teaching and possibly become a teacher in the future. CTEC introduced Jarett to career paths he didn’t know existed through hands-on experience in construction and welding, helping him recognize the value and importance of skilled trades in the real world. During his internship at Emerzian Woodworking, he gained insight into what working in a real shop environment looks like and learned the importance of continuing his education and building experience to pursue higher-level opportunities. Jarett would like to give a shoutout to his mom and says the skills he learned and the people he met at CTEC made the experience completely worth it. His advice to future students: work hard, make sure to have fun doing it, and enjoy the moments you get to spend working alongside your friends. Congratulations, Jarrett!
