How do systems of access and exclusion shape opportunity in America?
This semester, our 11th graders are exploring that question through real-world work…like coming alongside a community project through prototype fabrication.
The project: Fresno State student-designed shaded bus shelters, developed through Fresno State’s Intelligent Interiors Visualization Lab with the City of Fresno and Fresno Area Express, aimed at addressing extreme heat and improving conditions for transit riders. These designs will be field-tested across Fresno this summer.
Thank you to FAX for making this learning opportunity available for our students!
