Huge shoutout to Gabriel Lopez & Jakob Sandoval! Both students have developed a true passion for sheet metal in the Advanced Manufacturing pathway at @careertechedcharter. When the opportunity came up to be part of a one-of-a-kind construction build at the @fresnorop Design Build Competition — a project built entirely out of metal — they didn’t hesitate. They knew it meant long, hot days, early mornings, and late finishes… but they showed up ready to work every single day. With the support of @speedsquareconstruction these two didn’t miss a beat. Their work ethic, attention to detail, and drive stood out as they took on the challenge of assembling a @borgasteel building. Gabriel was even nominated for the Golden Hammer Award for outstanding performance! Proud is an understatement. 💚💙⚙️
