Class of 2025 Spotlight: Derek Duncan As a proud graduate of the CTEC Class of 2025, Derek Duncan reflects on a high school journey that sparked his passion for engineering. “I learned about computer-aided design and love using it,” he said. “Now I want to learn even more about how I can apply that skill to engineering.” During his internship at the Fresno City College CADD Lab, Derek dove deeper into CAD and 3D design—an experience that cemented his post-high school plans to pursue engineering. His advice for future CTEC students? “Learn as much as you can now so that you can apply it sooner—and stay curious.” He also wants to thank his parents: “Thank you to my mom and dad for pushing me toward this school.” Congratulations, Derek!
