A Message from Our Director
It is a pleasure for me to serve as the director for Career Technical Education Charter High School since 2016.
The vision for CTEC originated with Jim Yovino, the former Fresno County Superintendent of Schools. His passion for career technical education partnered with industries' need for a new generation of skilled workforce led us to the inception of CTEC where students become leaders and innovators in the manufacturing and construction fields.
Students who attend CTEC have the opportunity to engage in a one of a kind learning experience. This experience provides them with not only hands-on learning but the ability to participate in an educational experience that integrates their core subjects courses with their advanced manufacturing or commercial construction pathways. Our high school provides students with a nontraditional educational environment that connects them to relevant industries and provides them with projects that will impact their community. CTEC has given students the ability to explore future professions and discover skills that will impact their lives and those they encounter.
